I build infrastructure for autonomous AI agents, and write about technology, industry and the economy.
Some things about me
- PhD in mechanical engineering, trained on heat and energy systems.
- I build infrastructure for AI agents: first decentralized inference and open-source agent frameworks, now trust and payments for the agent economy.
- Live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Some things I believe
- Agents will become a major new class of economic actors.
- They will need what people needed: identity, payments, credit.
- The rails we have assume a human at the keyboard. That assumption is about to break.
- Trust, not intelligence, is the bottleneck.
- Models get smarter every quarter. Our ability to verify what an agent actually did does not.
- Energy is the real constraint on AI.
- Underneath every compute cost curve is an energy and cooling cost curve.
- The people who understand heat will matter more than we expect.
- Open source wins the infrastructure layer.
- Shared infrastructure compounds. Closed infrastructure gets routed around.
- Builders should write.
- Writing in public is how you find out what you actually think, and who else is thinking it.

Building the trust layer for agent payments at T54 Labs. Thinking about how agents get credit, and what AI's energy bill means for everything built on top of it.
